Ghent Gate | Gentpoortstraat | 8000 BruggeLive maps
The Gentpoort is one of four medieval Bruges city gates which have survived. For foreigners it was the entrance to the city, for inhabitants it was a border with the outside world. Its architecture shows the defensive function the gate had. Imports and exports also passed through these gates.
