Info coaches
Coach drivers travelling to Bruges can find all facilities at the re-modelled coach park “Bargeplein” (map E14, live map).
In addition to that, a new measure has been introduced to allow passenger drop-off at the Vrijdagmarkt (Zand square).
However, coaches are not allowed to collect their passengers from this drop-off point so as to keep discomfort for other road users to a minimum. Indeed, passenger pick-up is a lot more time-consuming than passenger drop-off, coaches always having to wait for the “last” passengers to arrive at the agreed meeting point.

Coaches are not allowed in the city centre. An exception is made for coaches dropping off/collecting passengers at/from their hotel. Exceptions to this rule can only be granted by the Bruges Police (Hauwerstraat 3, Tel. +32 50 40 88 44).
The coach park “Bargeplein” has a total capacity of 140 spaces, and facilities include toilets and telephone. There is a regular city bus service to and from the city centre.
The coach park is also a recommended meeting point for guided walking tours (reservations can made at the Tourist Office).

This coach park has toilets, telephone and there is a very regular bus seervice to the centre.
For other special facilities (a/o. emptying of coach toilets) adequate services are proposed by "Eltebe" (Lieven Bauwensstraat 41, 8200 St.-Andries, tel. + 32 50 32 01 11, fax + 32 50 31 32 65).
